Three appliances and crews from Bedfordshire and one from West Ashland attended, along with an officer.
A fire had broken out in the container area of an HGV lorry which was carrying around 23 tonnes of batteries and recycled plastic.
The firefighters used three hose reels and one main jet.
The lorry was moved to a suitable location where the container could be unloaded. The firefighters then used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- A thermal imaging camera
- Hay drags
