One appliance and crew from Amersham and one from High Wycombe attended, along with an officer.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one woman and one man, stabilised the cars and made the scene safe.
Both the man and woman were passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Thames Valley Police also attended.
