One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Beaconsfield and two from Slough attended, along with an officer.

Smoke was issuing from an underground car park when they arrived. The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.

The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reels.

The car park and four-storey building above was evacuated, and the electricity supply to the car park was isolated.

The incident was left in the hands of the building’s management company.
