One appliance and crew from West Ashland and one from Broughton attended, along with an officer.
One of the cars was on its roof when they arrived.
One man and one woman were out of the cars, injured, when they arrived. The firefighters provided immediate emergency care, before passing them into the hands of South Central Ambulance Service.
The road was closed, and the firefighters made the scene safe.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
