What are the steps to become an On-Call Firefighter?

There are eight steps to becoming an On-Call Firefighter with Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service. They are:

1. Express an interest in arranging a telephone conversation to discuss the role or sign up to our On-Call Firefighter Experience Evenings
2. Attend our On-Call Firefighter Experience Evening
3. Application Form
4. Assessment Weekend (Written and Role-based tests)
5. Interview and Presentation
6. Formal Offer of Employment
7. Preemployment Checks (Medicals & Eyesight Checks, DBS Checks, Reference, Uniform Fitting)
8. Induction Day
