Vehicle fire

Past

Three crews attended (Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Garston).

Firefighters were called to and extinguished a vehicle fire. A pick-up truck was alight on arrival and all persons were out of the vehicle, uninjured. The full road was temporarily closed to make the area safe.

Firefighters used:

  • One set of breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel jet
  • A thermal imaging camera
  • Hydraulic cutting gear

The incident was handed over to National Highways to support the recovery, and lane two and three were reopened.
