Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended.
The engine compartment of a single-decker bus was well alight when they arrived.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel jet
- A thermal imaging camera
- An environmental pack
- Small gear
Thames Valley Police also attended. The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene.
