Three crews (Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Slough) alongside an officer, Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service.
Firefighters were called to two vehicles involved in a road traffic collision,
One male was released and handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service, another male received minor injuries and was handed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Both vehicles were made safe by firefighters.
The M40 remained closed for an extended period.
