The Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014 apply to all local authorities, including fire and rescue authorities.
The Regulations mean that some decisions made by officers must be formally recorded and published on our website:
1.1 Decisions to serve the following notices under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO)
• Alteration Notices under Art.29
• Enforcement Notices under Art.30
• Prohibition Notices under Art. 31
These notices will be recorded on a public register in accordance with the Environment and Safety Information Act 1988.
The Enforcement Register https://nfcc.org.uk/our-services/enforcement-register/ is available for public inspection on the NFCC website.
1.2 Decisions to enter premises under section 45 of the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 where notice is given or a warrant is applied for – please see below.
