One crew from Broughton and one from West Ashland attended.
A fire was located on a cooker within a kitchen.
The firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one main jet, one hose reel, a positive pressure ventilation fan and a thermal imaging camera.
They also isolated the cooker and carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit.
The property was approximately 10 percent damaged by smoke and approximately 5 percent damaged by fire.
