At the height of the fire 12 crews, along with five officers attended.
The crews were from:
- West Ashland
- Broughton
- Newport Pagnell
- Woburn
- Leighton Buzzard
- Buckingham
- Olney
Update 9:40am Sunday 26 April:
We are now scaling back the amount of fire engines in attendance of this incident. Firefighters will still remain on scene, working hard to dampen down and check the building for hot spots.
The road closure on Watling Street, Bletchley is still in place, and we still ask that members of the public avoid the area. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Update 7:30 am Sunday 26 April:
The firefighters are using breathing apparatus, main jets and two turntable ladders. Cordons have been put in place, and our crews are expected to remain on scene for a considerable amount of time. We are working with Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service and onsite staff.
The building was evacuated.
Our crews are working extremely hard, and we’ll provide further updates when we have more confirmed information.
Our advice to the public is to still avoid the area and to local residents, please keep windows and doors closed to avoid breathing in smoke generated by the fire.
