Two crews from West Ashland and one crew from Broughton attended a small fire in a first‑floor kitchen of a two‑storey detached building.
Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire and clear smoke from the premises.
