Three crews from Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield and Langley attended a vehicle fire involving a trailer on the hard shoulder, which was alight on arrival.
Firefighters used one set of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and check for hot spots.
Approximately 25 per cent of the trailer was damaged by fire.
Highways officers were also in attendance.
