Two crews from West Ashland and one crew from Broughton attended a fire at a semi‑detached property.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jet to extinguish a fire in the integral garage.
A cylinder was removed from the garage as a precaution.
Crews also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property and monitored lithium iron battery systems, which could not be isolated until the arrival of the electricity board.
The incident was brought under control, and the scene was made safe.
