Three crews (one from Gerrards Cross and two from High Wycombe), along with two officers attended.
The firefighters carried out immediate emergency care to five men who were out on arrival. They also made the scene safe.
Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance and National Highways also attended.
A full road closure was put in place.
