One crew from West Ashland attended a grassland fire.
Due to the distance between the fire and the fire engine, firefighters used two backpack sprayers to extinguish the fire and prevent it spreading to surrounding vegetation.
Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check for any remaining hotspots.
