One crew from West Ashland and the wildfire unit from West Ashland attended a grass fire measuring approximately 30 metres by 30 metres.
Firefighters used wildfire equipment, including backpack water sprayers and beaters, to bring the fire under control and prevent further spread.
The fire was successfully extinguished and crews remained on scene for around 20 minutes carrying out damping down operations.
