One crew from Beaconsfield, one crew from Gerrards Cross and one crew from High Wycombe attended a road traffic collision involving a flatbed truck and a car.
The flatbed truck had crossed the central reservation, resulting in the closure of both the northbound and southbound carriageways by Thames valley police and National Highways while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Firefighters carried out scene safety operations and used environmental protection equipment to contain a fuel spill.
