One crew from High Wycombe attended a small animal rescue.
Firefighters were called to reports of pigeon chicks trapped behind anti-bird spikes on a first-floor bay window roof. Working alongside a wildlife ambulance team, crews used a short extension ladder and specialist transport equipment to reach the birds safely.
Firefighters carefully released two pigeon chicks and assisted with their rescue. The birds were transferred into the care of the wildlife ambulance for assessment and further treatment.
