One crew from High Wycombe attended a small chimney fire at a residential property.
Firefighters used chimney firefighting equipment, a thermal imaging camera and a gas monitor to investigate and extinguish the fire safely. Crews carried out checks throughout the property and confirmed that no carbon monoxide readings were detected.
The fire was confined to the log burner and chimney area, and firefighters worked to ensure there was no further fire spread.
A Home Fire Safety Check was also completed before crews left the scene.
