Six appliances and crews, along with three officers attended at the height of the fire.
The appliances and crews were from:
- High Wycombe
- Beaconsfield
- Amersham
- Aylesbury
The firefighters rescued a man from the property and passed him into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. A woman was also rescued from the property, uninjured.
The firefighters used five sets of breathing apparatus, two hose reels, a turntable ladder appliance and a thermal imaging camera.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
Approximately 50 percent of the roof was damaged.
