Past

One appliance and crew from West Ashland and one officer attended.

Firefighters responded to a call from a man who had become trapped in a car, with a dog. The car had become stuck in flood water.

The man was out of the car, uninjured, when they arrived.

Firefighters wearing water rescue kit rescued the dog and put up barrier tape to help draw attention to the floodwater and prevent others driving into it. They provided advice, and notified Thames Valley Police and the local council Highways Team.
