One appliance and crew from Thame attended, along with an officer.
Firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one woman who was out of the car, injured, when they arrived. A man was out of his car, uninjured when they arrived.
The woman was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. The firefighters made the scene safe and relocated the cars onto the road verge.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
