One appliance and crew from High Wycombe, one from Beaconsfield and one from Marlow attended, along with one officer.
A lorry was well alight when they arrived. The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.
The firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- A thermal imaging camera
The tractor unit of the lorry was fully involved in the fire. The lorries trailer was around five per cent in volved in the fire.
The firefighters closed two lanes of the motorway while they worked at the scene.
