The Trade Union Act 2016 introduced Trade Union Facilities Time reporting requirements for public sector organisations. Facility time is where an employee takes time off from their normal role to carry out duties and activities as a Trade Union representative.

We are required to publish information on Trade Union Facility Time under the ‘Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017’ and the ‘Local Government Transparency Code 2015’. The relevant information about our Trade Union Facilities Time for the period 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 is detailed below:
