At Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (BFRS), we understand that caring for others—whether professionally or personally—comes with great responsibility. Safety is a vital part of that care, and we’re here to support you in keeping those you look after safe from fire risks at home.
BFRS’s Prevention Team will be hosting free fire safety sessions. They will also be joined by our Business Engagement Team who will be on hand to take business related questions and signpost further advice or guidance.
Supporting Professional Carers and Support Workers
If you work in health, social care, or a support role, you play a crucial part in protecting vulnerable individuals. To help you in this role, we’re offering free fire safety training sessions designed to:
- Increase your awareness of fire risks in the home
- Help you take a person-centred approach to fire prevention
- Show how BFRS can support you, colleagues and those you care for
- Guide you through referring someone for a free Home Fire Safety Visit, including access to free safety equipment
