Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority today (Wednesday 8 November) announces that Jason Thelwell is standing down as Chief Fire Officer of Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service. Jason has been Chief Fire Officer of Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service since 2015.
Cllr Simon Rouse, Chairman of the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority said
“On behalf of the Authority, I want to thank Jason Thelwell for his service to the communities of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, and the wider fire and rescue sector, including the last 8 years as Chief Fire Officer. The Authority wishes Jason well in his future career.”
Mick Osborne is currently serving as the interim Chief Fire Officer. The Authority will be making an announcement about a new Chief Executive/Chief Fire Officer for the Service in due course.
