Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended.

The fire which started after a lit candle in the ground floor living room of a two-storey house, fell over.

The firefighters used:

  • Two sets of breathing apparatus
  • One hose reel
  • A positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke

One woman was out of the house, suffering the effects of breathing in smoke, when they arrived.

Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe attended.

The fire in the first-floor bedroom, believed to have been caused by lit candles, was out when they arrived.

The Firefighters provided first aid to two girls for the effects of minor burns, before passing them into the care of South Central Ambulance service.

A fire and wellness check was undertaken and an additional smoke alarm installed.

One appliance and crew from Aylesbury attended. The fire was out on arrival. Firefighters used a fan to clear the smoke.
