Three appliances and crews from West Ashland, one from Broughton, two from Buckingham and three officers attended.

There was a fire on the first floor of a terrace property.

A women was out on arrival and passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

The firefighters used:

  • Six sets of breathing apparatus
  • Three hose reel jets
  • One main jet

They also isolated the gas and electric in the property and surrounding properties.

The first floor was 25 per cent damaged by fire and 100 per cent damaged by smoke, the roof was 45 per cent damaged by fire and 50 per cent damaged by smoke.

The firefighters returned to the property again in the morning and used a short extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera to reinspect for hotspots.
