Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended.
The fire was located in a pan in the kitchen of the property.
The firefighters isolated the electrics to the oven and used a positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear smoke.
They also checked the property with a thermal imaging camera and installed smoke detectors.
