Specialist water rescue teams from Beaconsfield and crews from Windsor, Maidenhead and Wantage along with one officer attended a fire involving 20-foot motor cruiser on the River Thames which was well alight on arrival.
Firefighters used one light portable pump and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, while water rescue personnel assisted operations.
The motor cruiser was completely destroyed by fire and was left in situ. The Environment Agency was informed.
