Two crews from West Ashland, a boat crew from Newport Pagnell, along with two officers attended.
Firefighters were called to a canal boat that had become involved in a fire. They used a dry powder extinguisher, buckets and a lightweight portable pump.
Approximately 10 percent of the boat had become damaged.
