Two crews, from Broughton and Newport Pagnell were called to and extinguished a bus fire that was coming from the engine compartment. The bus was fully evacuated prior to firefighters’ arrival.
Firefighters contained the fire by using the following equipment:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel
Crews remained on site afterwards to maintain road Closure and assist in the recovery of the vehicle.
