Three crews (Two from West Ashland, Newport Pagnell) alongside an officer attended.
Firefighters were called to a car on fire in lane one of the M1 motorway (between junctions 13/14 marker post A 76 over 8). The fire had also spread to a nearby grass verge.
National Highways were also in attendance for traffic control.
Firefighters used:
- One breathing apparatus set
- two hose reel jets
