Two crews from Aylesbury attended a car fire which was well alight on arrival.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, three thermal imaging cameras and small gear to extinguish the fire.
Due to water supply requirements, a second fire engine was requested to assist at the scene. Crews made steady progress bringing the incident under control and carried out checks to ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Highways were also in attendance to assist with traffic management and road safety measures.
