One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross, one from Hillingdon and one from Langley attended.
One car was well alight on the hard shoulder of the motorway when they arrived.
The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.
The firefighters used:
- One set of breathing apparatus
- One hose reel
- A thermal imaging camera
One lane of the motorway was closed while they worked at the scene.
The car was 100 per cent damaged by fire.
Thames Valley Police, and National Highways also attended.
