One appliance and crew from Broughton and one from West Ashland attended.
One car was well alight when they arrived. The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.
The firefighters used:
- Three sets of breathing apparatus
- Two hose reels
- Two dry powder extinguishers
- Small gear
- Hydraulic cutting equipment
- A thermal imaging camera
- An environmental pack
- A Tirfor winch
The road was closed while they worked at the scene.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
