Three crews attended (one from Broughton, two from West Ashland), along with an officer.
Firefighters were called to an actuating carbon monoxide alarm in the basement of a two-storey building. Firefighters detected carbon monoxide readings in the plant room due to an oil leak. The boiler and oil tank were isolated, and the area was ventilated. Firefighters took final readings which showed 0 parts per million.
Firefighters used:
- Two sets of breathing apparatus
- A thermal imaging camera
- A gas monitor
The incident was handed over to the onsite property caretaker.
