One appliance and crew from West Ashland attended.
A cat had become stuck in a water drain that measured approximately 20 metres by 12 metres.
The firefighters used small gear to carefully push the cat towards the exit of the drain.
The firefighters were able to release and pass the cat into the care of its owner.
RSPCA also attended.
