One crew from Broughton, one from West Ashland, two from Mereway, along with an officer attended.
Crews were called to a road traffic collision involving one car and one LGV (large goods vehicle). The firefighters used e-hydraulics to release a man that had become trapped.
They passed the man into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
