Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, along with an officer attended.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to a man who was out on arrival, before passing him into the care of colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service.
A full road closure was put in place.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
