Five appliances and crews attended, along with one officer.

The appliances and crews attending were from:

  • Broughton
  • Newport Pagnell
  • West Ashland
  • Mereway,  Northamptonshire

The collision involved one car, one van, one Luton van and one large goods vehicle.

The firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release one man. Four other men and one women were all out of their vehicles when the firefighters arrived.

Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service, and National Highways also attended.
