One appliance and crew from Thame, one from High Wycombe, one from Kidlington, along with an officer attended.
Two women had become trapped within a car, following a collision.
The firefighters used hydraulic cutting tools and a LGV (large goods vehicle) platform to release the women, passing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
Thames Valley Police also attended.
