One appliance and crew from Amersham, and one from Hertfordshire attended, along with an officer.
A car had been involved in a collision with a hedge.
The firefighters made the scene safe and helped one man from the car. The man was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
A co-responder, and Thames Valley Police also attended.
