Two appliances and crews from West Ashland attended, along with an officer.
A car and a van had been involved in a collision. The van had overturned.
One man was out, uninjured, when they arrived. The firefighters used a glass saw and a triple extension ladder to release one man, injured, who was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
