Two appliances and crews from High Wycombe, one from Beaconsfield, along with two officers attended.
Two people were out on arrival, the firefighters provided immediate emergency care to one who had become injured. They also released a woman who had become trapped, passing her into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
A full road closure was put in place while crews made the scene safe.
The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police and the National Highways.
