One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross attended.
Two cars were in the middle of the road when they arrived.
The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to three people who were out of the cars and suffering minor injuries.
They used a Tirfor winch to remove the cars from the road, which was closed while they worked at the scene.
South Central Ambulance Service also attended. The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.
