Two fire engines and crews from High Wycombe and one from Marlow attended, along with one officer.
The firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release one man, injured, who was passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Two men and one woman were out when they arrived.
The motorway was closed while the emergency services worked at the scene.
Thames Valley Police and National Highways also attended.
