Three crews attended (two from West Ashland and one from Broughton).
Firefighters were called to a fire in an extractor fan in the kitchen of a two-storey terrace property. The fire was out on arrival.
Firefighters carried out a search of the property using small gear and a thermal imaging camera. Part of the ceiling was removed to check for fire spread. Firefighters also isolated the gas and electric to the property.
