Four appliances attended (one from West Ashland, one from Newport Pagnell, one from Broughton, and one from Leighton Buzzard) along with two officers.
Crews were called to a field fire, two distinct seats of fire within a field measuring approximately seventy acres.
Firefighters contained the fire and prevented further escalation across the affected area. Approximately 20 acres of the field was affected.
The firefighters used:
- Onsite agricultural vehicle
- Hose reel jets
- Wildfire unit (West Ashland)
- Fog spike
- Small gear
This incident generated multiple calls to our control room.
Crews remained on scene for sometime damping down and and checking for hotspots.
